The Image Collector App is used to collect more pictures of parts which are already in your database. Ultimately, the Image Collector App aims to significantly improve the matching quality for your products.
1. Download nyris Image Collector App
nyris Image Collector App can be easily downloaded on PlayStore and Apple Store (company name Everybag GmbH).
2. Login
To use the Image Collector App you need to login first. Your account manager will get in touch and send you your user ID and password.
3. Enter the part ID or SKU and start taking pictures!
A picture cannot be taken without entering and SKU or part ID. Once this reference is added you can take as many pictures as you want and then press on send.
The barcode functionality works only if you included barcode in your database.
4. nyris receives the pictures
The pictures taken by the Image Collector App are sent to nyris and added to your visual search index, assigned to the part ID or SKU entered in the app.
If the nyris Image Collector App is used for a test the pictures collected might be added to a new database.
5. Picture Quality
Please find below some general guidelines for the pictures taken with the image collector app
The product or object should be the major part of the image
Avoid noisy background or background with strong pattern
Please do not submit low light, blurred images
Add images only, that add product specific information
